Selection Procedure
Selection process for the post of MTS (Civilian) consists multiple-stages, which are as follows.
1). Written Exam (50 Marks)
- The written exam is one hour (60 minutes) in duration.
- It consists of 50 marks and is of objective type.
- The exam includes 50 questions, each carrying one mark.
- The questions pertain to general awareness and general knowledge, commensurate with a class 10th pass student.
- The paper will be in Hindi.
- The minimum qualifying mark is 33%.
2) Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test (Qualifying)
Physical Standard Test (PST) or Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
Male Candidates:
- Height: 157 cm
- Chest: 76-81 cm
Female Candidates:
- Height: 152 cm
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Male: 1600 Meter Race in 9 Minutes
- Female: 800 Meter Race in 5 Minutes
3) Trade Test (20 Marks) (Qualifying)
