Age Limit for the Candidate Applying for MTS and Various Posts is Maximum 35 Years.

Educational Qualification

If you want to apply for the above posts you must have the following educational qualifications. 
Assistant Registrar: Candidate Should have I. Master’s Degree Or II. Degree.

Assistant Librarian: Candidate Should have B.Lib.

Assistant: Candidate Should have Bachelor’s Degree.

Assistant (F&A): Candidate Should have Commerce Graduate.

PA to Registrar: Candidate Should have Graduate.

Technical Assistant-B: Candidate Should have I. B.Sc. Or II. HS with diploma in Engineering/ Draftsmanship Or III. B.Sc.

Upper Division Clerk (UDC): Candidate Should have Graduate.

MTS (Technical): Candidate Should have Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized board + 2 years ITI Trade Certificate.

The Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) is a society registered under Act XXI of 1860 and the corresponding State Act viz. the West Bengal State Registration Act 1961, with its headquarters at 2A & B, Raja S. C. Mallick Road, Calcutta – 700 032, West Bengal, India. It has a Governing Council with a number of members elected or nominated and the Registrar as its Non-Member Secretary. The Council has the functions, duties and power as envisaged in the Memorandum and Bye Laws and as per the provisions of the relevant Act.
